No bad’ is the philosophy for a better planet. She adds, “‘All good. However, plastic bottles made of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) are completely recyclable, although they are not biodegradable. However, it was in 2017 that she came up with an innovative recycling initiative. All the world’s plastic! It is here, there, and everywhere — from straws to polybags, from tiffin boxes to soda bottles. We started with our 1,500 t-shirt capsule collection and apart from general consumers, many of our existing partner organisations showed keen interest to Off-white Merino Lamb Hair faux fur fabric join hands with us.”“Fashion has always been close to my heart and making recycling and upcycling cool was a challenge I was looking forward to. This means a per capita plastic consumption of nearly 11 kilograms — a large part of this includes bottles, wrappers, bags, and sachets.2 million bottles for recycling and she has recently launched her first apparel collection that is made up of 95 per cent recycled plastic polyester and 5 per cent Dri Fit spandex.

With this initiative, seven empty bottles get transformed into one t-shirt. But its negative effects on the environment cannot be discounted, and the world seems to be waking up to this reality. Our customers are wearing these t-shirts on a daily basis.According to the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB) report in 2017, it was estimated that around 25,940 tonnes of plastic waste is generated every day in India. Being a committed proponent of sustainable living, she decided to follow an eco-friendly lifestyle.“I was in Nashik when I noticed large quantities of plastic bottles being treated as ‘garbage’.The youth of today connects with sustainability and there is scope to make a unique identity for an initiative like ours because people are seeking and appreciating solutions that show responsibility towards the environment,” she adds.

Yarn is then woven into fabric, dyed using eco-friendly processes, before the ocean-friendly t-shirt is finally ready. I spent the next two years in R&D to create fashionable apparel made of discarded, empty plastic juice bottles. These t-shirts are available in different styles.Mumbai-based Atiya Rakyan takes your discarded plastic, processes it into fashionable tees, and gives it back to you thanks to her ingenious initiative that gets upcyling right. The learning amassed in this process led to the launch of RawCycle, making them the best available alternatives to recycled waste,” Atiya shares.

Google, Facebook, L&T, and even some schools have shown their interest in the project,” she said on a concluding note.Talking about the feedback she has received for this initiative, the 35-year-old expresses, “People are enjoying the fabric and the tee’s versatility.”The gathered plastic bottles are first washed and then chopped into flakes, which are later melted, shaped into chips, and extruded into yarn.“Garbage disposal is a huge problem in today’s plastic crisis and we find people often aren’t aware of alternative solutions to manage disposal better.Take, for instance, Atiya Rakyan’s endeavour.

Overdoing it can ruin the overall appearance of the outfit. Plaid is a stiff material so anything that you wear should be structured in form. The season now is autumn/winter so we are inviting designers to work with plaids as we are quite bored with plain winter wear,” adds Ranjitha. It is very stiff and is of very high quality. The trend was all over the recently held Fashion Weeks, where celebrities and movie stars occupy front row seats to root for their favourite designers. “We can always do a contempory take on the plaid weave when we want to incorporate it in Indian clothing. So when accessorising for such a fabric, people should style it with a light weight silk scarf or a fur neck line. This season plaid seems to rule the ramp.Everywhere we can see people sporting plaids and checks.”When putting together an outfit, all components should go well together.Designers are playing around with lot of lines, checks and plaids.

She concludes by saying, “Jewellery wise I don’t think it is necessary to accessorise this trend, but if people want to accessorise they should go for antique gold or silver jewellery.“Ever since plaid has come back in vogue, we can now see a lot of sweater, sweat shirts and basically winter wear in plaids. The plaid trend has been sported by celebrities like Sonam Kapoor, Dia Mirza and Priyanka Chopra. Plaid and checks are coming back into fashion. So, when sporting a look that has plaid element, it is important to know how to style it.Designer Ranjitha Sundar says, “Fashion is a cycle.”She also suggests that while winter collections have always been plain, that is not the case now.Plaid fabrics are quite bold.

So we can naturally assume that our celebrities will sport trends that are introduced at these events. High boots and stockings will also go well with plaid outfits, states designer Aparna Shadab.”Accessorising can give the outfit a whole different perspective. She goes on to explain, “There are no rules to follow and it only depends on what suits your body type. “The plaid is a very unique fabric. Plaids are generally thicker compared to other fabrics because it includes a lot of thick threads, yarns and fibres which tend to give extra texture on the fabric.Crop tops in a plaid weave Black drawing roller faux fur fabric with a floral Banaras s******t, with parted hair and a ponytail, will give very fresh take to the overall outfit,” says designer Prachita Devi.Year after year we have seen new trends being introduced to the fashion world.

She shares, “Women who are slender can experiment with leg of mutton or full puff sleeves styles which gives a illusion of broader shoulder and heavier arms. For the office, you can wear puffed sleeve shirt with either pants or sets. Voluminous sleeves are a favourite among anyone who loves the 80s and all things vintage. But if you have got broad shoulders, bishop sleeves is your best choice. Choose the fabric carefully and follow a simple rule.”Avoid a complete fashion faux pas by following a few do’s and dont’s. Since you have the drama on top, keep the rest of your look fitted so that you don’t look like a balloon. She says, “You need to be very careful while sporting this trend.

The best way to style this is by going the indo-western way. You can choose from a variety of them.Giving us a brief description of how a puff sleeve looks, designer Reshma Kunhi shares, “Puff sleeves are usually sleeves which are gathered on top as well as bottom. wrong fabric equals disaster.”Telling us the best way to style this elaborate trend, she suggests, “Puff sleeves can be styled in many ways.” She advices that one should consider the body shape before trying these sleeves. “Or, you can just skip the sparkle and just go with a fancy clutch,” she concludes.

Wear a saree draped over a fitted pant and a one shoulder dramatic puff sleeve blouse purple faux fur fabric to go with it.”Reshma suggests that since there is so much drama already keep the jewellery to a minimum. It gives a illusion of a broader shoulder. Heavy outfits should go with flowy and soft fabric like chiffon, georgette, crepe etc. From leg of mutton (fuller at the top) to peasant (puffed only at the arm), melon and bishop (where it is gathered down). A trend from an bygone era, puff sleeves are all the rage this season. One of the best examples of puffed sleeves are the ones you see princesses wearing in fairytales. For ligher fabrics one can go for crisp fabric like organza, silk, stiff cotton etc.

For a chic and fuss-free look, accessorise minimally. The idea of having an interchangeable capsule wardrobe appeals to the new age women and since jerseys can be worn throughout the year, it fits perfectly in one’s ever changing wardrobe. “Coming season is all about sport luxe and new-age brides aren’t shying away from experimentation. It washes and wears just as well as it travels White dyed fox fur faux fur fabric and neither needs careful packing nor pressing.”Nowadays jerseys are even used for making products like buttons, belts and neckpieces.“The jersey fabric has definitely undergone a lot of changes since its inception. About different styles, patterns and prints — you have plenty of options to choose from — go for printed jersey or drapes inspired by ancient Greek robes. Even a jersey scarf makes for a great statement. Printed jersey is definitely in trend.

Black jersey, however, is a classic.“Jersey is the new black,” declares designer Pallavi Mohan. But while this trend — draped jersey — may be on the verge of overexposure, designers and brands like Celine, Stella McCartney and Chloé have managed to keep the look fresh. One could go for stripes, polka dots, gypsy or floral prints for this season.”Designer Hemant ar agrees, “Jersey is one of the most practical of materials for modern urban living. The colour palette is concentrated in the dark shades so go for blue, grey, green, black but if you must wear something brighter, choose white. The fabric is warm, flexible, stretchy and very insulating, making it a popular choice for the layer worn closest to the body. Keep the look as simple as possible by using one accessory at a time, it may be a bracelet or earrings or a chain in the neck with nice shoes.

However, it is advisable not to forget to choose the right innerwear when wearing a garment made of jersey. Perhaps it’s the gym-slimmed and beach bodies that are prompting designers to drape the fabric in their collection.” Pallavi adds, “This season, fashion lovers can go for different styles like loose-fitted silhouettes, long tops, maxi dresses, long sets, or dungarees. They are paired with materials that are the contrary to this flowing material — a sleek simple jersey dress, for example, looks great with a leather biker jacket. If last winter was all about flares and chunky knits, this time around the dresses are getting the jersey treatment.Since the fabric is versatile, one can go for highly-embellished jersey lehengas, over-sized blouses, Indian-style robe coats, kurtis with plunged necklines paired with dupatta, and even opt for saris.”

Talking in terms of silhouettes, he adds, “Jerseys have to be either free-flowing and draped or tight and body hugging. Earlier the fabric was only used for casual wear or sportswear wherein the silhouettes ranged from t-shirts and shorts. Jersey dresses are very much in vogue this season and so are well-tailored jackets, high-waisted flannel pants and jumpsuits.”Speaking of the use of jersey in Indian wear, designer Gautam Gupta adds that you can be experimental with the fabric in bridal wear too. But now, with the evolved technology, you can see beautiful draping of jersey in evening wear dresses, gowns and even lehengas. The most attractive thing about jersey is its lack of need for special care and the fact that it can be mixed and matched with other fabrics. For make up, nude is in, and for hair — opt for loose waves or braids.

We don't Beige rabbit fur faux fur fabric think about it as something of value that has a future use," said Winterich. For instance, if people are aware of the fact that their plastic bottles can be recycled into making a jacket, or that the aluminium cans can be turned into bicycles, they are expected to follow and encourage the idea of recycling." Next, the researchers showed the participants a series of advertisements.According to Winterich, the definition of a recyclable is an object with future use, and yet many of us still view recyclable material as trash. During the study, the team of researchers gave participants half-sheets of scrap paper on which to doodle so they could "clear their minds. The results of these studies appear in the Journal of Marketing. Others featured products being recycled into the same types of products -- for example, a plastic bottle being transformed into a new plastic bottle."Recycling rates in the United States are too low.

Still, others featured products being recycled into entirely new products -- for example, a plastic bottle transformed into a jacket. As part of the study, researchers suggest that recycling rates can improve if consumers are exposed to signage and mesing that shows recyclables are transformed into new products. The researchers found that the people who were shown ads that detailed product transformation was significantly more likely to recycle their scrap sheets of paper than the people who were shown the control recycling mese that did not make transformation salient. When consumers are reminded of the products that their recyclables can be turned into, they are more likely to recycle."We may put it in the recycling bin, but in essence, we think of it as garbage.

"We hope to change the conversation from 'Where does this go?' as consumers question whether an item is recyclable to 'What can this make?' with consumers automatically thinking about products made from the material they recycle," Winterich suggested. At the end of the session, the researchers recorded whether or not the participants placed their scrap sheets of paper into the recycling bin or the trash can before leaving the room. For example, in 2015, only 25 per cent of waste was recycled," said Karen Winterich, one of the lead researchers of the project.Winterich and her colleagues conducted a series of studies in which they examined how product transformation salience -- thinking about recyclables turning into new products -- influences recycling. Some of the advertisements merely encouraged recycling.

Cape Canaveral: SpaceX racked up another first on Friday, launching a recycled rocket with a recycled capsule on a grocery run for NASA.. Once back up to full capacity, the station will be home to three Americans, two Russians and one Japanese. The space station is down to three astronauts until Sunday’s launch of three more.SpaceX — one of two private shippers contracted by NASA — has been making station supply runs since 2012.It was NASA’s first use of a reused Falcon rocket and only the second of a previously flown Dragon. The unmanned Falcon rocket blasted off with a just-in-time-for-Christmas delivery for the International Space Station, taking flight again after a six-month turnaround. Rather than letting first-stage boosters sink in the Atlantic, as other orbital rocket makers do, SpaceX flies them back to Cape Canaveral for vertical touchdowns or, when extra rocket power is needed to propel a satellite extra high, to a floating ocean platform.NASA flew its first reused capsule back in June. so getting the down is important for everyone,” Shireman said.. Double sonic booms thundered across the area.“Quite an achievement,” he said.

On board was a Dragon supply ship, also a second-time flier. The capsule last visited the 250-mile-high outpost in 2015.Friday’s booster recovery was the 20th for the company. But managers waited until SpaceX had three rocket reflights under its belt, before putting NASA’s station equipment and experiments on a secondhand Falcon. The Dragon should arrive at the orbiting outpost a few hours after the fresh crew launches from Kazakhstan.Friday’s successful liftoff means SpaceX has now launched from all three of its pads — two in Florida and one in California — in the same year. This time, the capsule is hauling nearly 5,000 pounds of goods, including 40 mice for a muscle-wasting study, a first-of-its-kind impact sensor for measuring space debris as minuscule as a grain of sand and barley seeds for a germination experiment by Budweiser, already angling to serve the first beer on Mars. The only way to get thousands of people into space — the ultimate goal of Musk — is by drastically cutting launch, she said.

That’s where it landed back in June following its first launch.Within 10 minutes of liftoff, the first-stage booster was back at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, standing upright on the giant X at SpaceX’s landing zone. After extensive reviews, the risk of flying a reused rocket, versus a brand new one, was judged to be pretty much equal, he said.Ven Feng, a NASA manager, said he had “a little sense of deja vu” watching Friday’s launch and landing of the same rocket he saw take off and return in June. SpaceX spent million rebuilding the pad.Jessica Jensen, a SpaceX manager, said the company aims to reuse rockets — and capsules — far more than twice.Reusability is the future for spaceflight, according to NASA’s station program managerk Shireman.

At SpaceX headquarters in Hawthorne, California, cheers erupted outside the company’s glassed-in Mission Control, where chief executive Elon Musk joined his employees. The Dragon reaches the space station Sunday. This was the first launch from Black mink without fur slip faux fur fabric the SpaceX-rented Complex 40 in more than a year.“The reality is, the business of space is dominated by launchts .For the past two years, the private SpaceX has been salvaging as much as possible from rockets following liftoff.“This was a fantastic way to end the year for SpaceX East Coast launches,” Jensen told reporters. The last time a Falcon rocket stood at the pad ready to fly, in September 2016, it blew up during a fueling drill.

You will find enough and more of this trend through their latest collection on the racks and designs that we think are absolutely stunning. Ruching is essentially the gathering of fabric. What I love about them is that they can make a body con dress even more ***y. Figure balanced with right amount of ruching is a perfect dress”!They say, it’s not about what size you wear but how you wear your size.An international fashion magazine recently revealed that this was definitely one of the top 10 trends to start wearing in 2019. An Pink embossed rabbit hair faux fur fabric ideal dress to wear long and petite to an evening cocktail party too! It’s an all time ideal dress with only trick being balancing the ruched part.Elizabeth John, a designer and fashion stylist who believe in curating impeccable visual experiences through styling and design and is also the creative director at a fashion school in Bengaluru says, “Ruched dresses will definitely be a big S/S trend in 2019. Ruched dresses in slightly stretchable fabric do the best job. And because of its versitality it’s going to be big in S/S 2019!

As it’s a trend for everyone!! It’s been on the runways globally, thanks to designers like Saint Laurent, Miu Miu, Dolce & Gabbana, and Gucci to name a few.Flatteringly gathered gowns are gaining popularity through the fashion world since the past couple of months and you will continue to see more of these through 2019. Trim in the form of applied lace and fabric robings, that is strips of ruched, gathered or pleated fabric replaced the plain style. And that’s another trend gaining popularity in the fashion world right now which we will talk about soon. You can trace this down to fashion in the period 1700’s in European and European influenced countries. And those who have a great figure, this style just enhances it further. The right amount of ruching at the right place can create flattering curves to a plus size body , while slimmer frames can use ruching to add curves wherever desired.

This is one trend that styles all sizes — a wardrobe must have for all!—The writer helms a fashion brand with international elements, and walks the talk when it comes to runway rousing!.It’s a style that gives a dress a finish that works wonders especially for women wanting to hide their minor flaws if any across the midriff. This could be fabric gathered into frills and pleats, or it could be fabric that has been ruched on the sides, at the hips or bust to make a dress more shapely, or it could be fabric that is ruched with an elastic running through it or even a cord that can be tightened or loosened and tied at the ends to fit the person wearing the garment. Many top brands have been showcasing dresses and shirts with flattering gathers. Moreover this hot trend is taking over ramps everywhere”.You can also use velvet to give your ruched dress a rich look & feel.”

Amongst all the top brands that you will see on the runways, we personally favour Versace with this one.In the recent past, it was a popular option for mature women who desired an easy, sophisticated and formal dress. We recommend a strappy slip dress in silk ruched slightly on one side with a high slit. The ruched dresses that are currently trending area vintage style inspired by the 1940’s cocktail dresses. Another one of our favourite looks is a long bustier dress with a sheer fabric covering the bust with gathers around the neckline and sleeves adding drama and glamour to a high waisted gown. It was also found popular during the prom season amongst young girls influenced by the older women’s sense of dressing and wanting to ape the “mature” look. Givenchy balanced ruched detailing with accordion pleating to create a dress that will be at the top of many wishlists next season, while Calvin Klein used it to cinch it in the waist. We definitely recommend them. Too much of it can totally ruin the dress.

The pad was ruined when a SpaceX rocket exploded during testing in September 2016. Although NASA's best rocket experts conducted an extensive review of the recycled and meticulously inspected booster, there is never "zero risk," he pointed out."As before, the first-stage booster will attempt to land back at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.
